PLA Biodegradable Bag
PLA Biodegradable Bag
PLA (short for polylactic acid) is produced from corn, sugarcane, sugarbeet and other crops by microbial fermentation and extraction, followed by dehydration, esterification, cyclization, purification and chain addition. PLA has excellent biodegradability. After being discarded, it can be completely degraded by microorganisms in the soil in a short time to produce CO2 and water without polluting the environment. It is widely used in downstream products and application fields such as food contact packaging, tableware, straw, film bag packaging, fiber, fabric, 3D printing materials and so on.
PBAT (short for polybutylene adipate terephthalate) is a biodegradable random copolymer, specifically a copolyester of adipic acid, 1,4-butanediol and terephthalic acid (from dimethyl terephthalate). It has the characteristics of PBA and PBT. It not only has good ductility, elongation at break, heat resistance and impact resistance, but also has excellent biodegradability. It has good film-forming performance. It is usually blended with PLA resin to make end products. It can be used for plastic packaging film, agricultural plastic film, disposable utensils, etc.
Our biodegradable packaging bags are made of PLA+PBAT, which is eco-friendly and great alternative to regular plastic. Our products can solve specific environmental problems in various sectors, such as foodservice, retail, packaging and separate collection of organic waste and agriculture. All PLA+PBAT Biodegradable Packaging Bags are fully biodegradable and compostable and, as such, can be reused also for the separate collection of organic waste. And our PLA+PBAT Biodegradable Packaging Bags are certified compostable according to the European Standard 13432 standard.
